Blood Drive event has been successfully completed today sponsored by Society of Nepalese in America, Branford Connecticut (a 501 C Non-Profit Organization) in Association with American Red-Cross. The Event was held at Branford Fire Department Headquarter Located at 45 N main St, Branford.

Total of 58 out of 58 donors have registered for blood donation but only 42 Donors have successfully donated whole unit blood. This was the very first Blood Drive sponsored by SNA and coordinated with the Red Cross by Gyanu Shrestha, technical director. He was recognized by the American Red Cross as Blood Program Leader on the behalf of SNA.

Few of the donors have already been donated multiple times in the past in the US and overseas. Majority of the people have donated blood for the first time in Life.

At the Beginning of the event, Ram C Shrestha a RTM in District 4 of Branford, SNA President Purna Limbu, Sr.Vice President Tek B Kunwar , Technical Director Gyanu Shrestha ,SNA Secretary Shyam Lamichhane ,Community Members Lok B Thapa, Bishnu Khadka were present at the beginning of the event and Gyanu Shrestha has assisted and volunteered for the event.

Subash Aryal , a Community Member assisted in Photography who also has donated blood at the event.

SNA presented an appreciation certificate to all donors. Here is the name list of all donors from our community.
