Thank you to all who donated blood today at Branford Fire Department, blood drive sponsored by Society of Nepalese in America, Branford, Connecticut. This is the second blood drive sponsored by SNA. Almost 75% of donors participated from the Nepalese community living in Branford town and surrounding neighborhood. We successfully collected 47 pints of blood which can save up to 3 times of lives. Few of the participants were disqualified with minor health issues. Everyone seemed excited to donate blood. Society of Nepalese in America presented a certificate to individuals who donated blood, at the same time Nepal Red Cross Society gifted beach towels. Specially thanks to SNA president Mr. Purna B. Limbu for full time support during the event, freelancer photographer Subash Aryal for contributing pictures, SNA executive member Umesh Gauli for preparing certificates, Red Cross Accounting Manager Ricardo Curry Jr. II for arranging this event, Branford Fire Department for providing space and all medical teams to make this drive grand success.
