First Round of Earthquake Relief Materials Distributed Successfully

First round of earthquake relief materials distributed successfully by SNA (Society of Nepalese in America) at Budhanilkantha Municipality Ward No. 16, Sapatar, Chunikhel. As per emergency requirements for monsoon season, tin was distributed for the local people and handover to individual family. Distribution Program was coordinated by Mr. Ram Chandra Shrestha ( Advisor & Past Secretary of SNA & Life Member) from SNA Branford CT. Mr. Gopal Adhikari (Life Member of SNA) also assisting the relief distribution. Local social worker Mr. Nhuchhe Narayan Shrestha and Mr. Mahendra Shrestha, volunteers, local authorities actively helped to success this event. About 50 Family benefited with distribution, who were surviving their lives in open sky after massive earthquake and never received any kind of tents and other relief materials. The cost of relief materials was about Rs. 2,92,00.00( US Dollar 3,000.00).This area was picked by local resident Mr. Ram Chandra Regmi, currently residing at Branford Connecticut. Mr. Regmi is a current vice president of the society. Special Thanks to Mr. Nhuchhe Naryan Shrestha, Mahendra Shrestha, Dr. Biju Shrestha, Raju Dallakoti, Media Coordinator Raju Thapa. Again, thank you all who helped us to complete this mission successfully.
